Description
This species of Bee balm is shorter and less aggressive than many other species. It has pale purple blooms with darker speckles on the petals. A Bee and butterfly favorite, it serves as a host for over 10 species of caterpillar including the Hermit Sphinx moth and Gray Marvel moth and attracts bumblebees and hummingbirds
The foliage has a minty fragrance and can be used in teas. North American Native plant.
