This species of Bee balm is covered in large, lavender flowers in summer. A Bee and butterfly favorite. The foliage has a minty fragrance and can be used in teas. Plants are less aggressive spreaders than other types of bee balms. Both the flowers and foliage can be used in flower arrangements. North American Native plant.
